Cougars Alumni 2012
I did it! On Friday May 11,2012 I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism at the University of Houston. In other words, I have passed ‘GO and collect $200’.
The weekend has been full of zest and celebration. Many of my family and friends made the 4 hour drive to Houston. I am truly blessed to have the most energetic supporters. A very popular question asked of me is “how do you feel?” …then usually I pause and respond with uncertainty. But now after taking a moment for myselfIt, I feel I am mourning a death of one chapter but celebrating the birth of a new chapter for my life. It is an interesting emotion. Overall I am ready to thrive.
